The Building will be an exemplar of best practice in the design, construction and management of inclusive and sustainable environments. It will incorporate the latest technology for intelligent buildings and be environmentally sensitive.

It will consist of teaching rooms, a conference centre, exhibition space, fully accessible residential accommodation and a building laboratory for carrying out full-scale building research and development together with ancillary research accommodation.

In educational terms the building will act as the equivalent of a Teaching Hospital for the Construction Industry by providing a meeting place between Research, Postgraduate Teaching and Enterprise.

This project were developed by the members of E&E Architects.
