Enfield is in the process of completely transforming its secondary education provision to facilitate the highest possible levels of achievement for all young people. The council plans to provide inclusive C21st learning environments that enable personalization of learning to meet the needs of all its young people and to fulfill its aim: “To make Enfield one of the best places to work, study and do business.”

The Council’s place-shaping and educational policy objectives are closely linked. Through Building Schools for the Future (BSF), Enfield aims to strengthen the development of excellent schools providing inclusive, integrated, and extended services. These will provide facilities, raise expectations, boost skill levels, and provide employment to developing communities. The development of sustainable communities, physical infrastructure through place-shaping, enables schools to actively benefit communities.

The Client Design Advisor acts from the inception of a BSF program through to its completion, performing a range of tasks to help ensure that the schools delivered are of the highest quality.
